Greetings ladys and gentleman. 21 days without updates, 21 questions and only 3 answers: new features, more style and beautiful users. Yes! GreenDOC just got updated. :-)

Before we begin, yesterday our designer’s wife gave birth to a little baby girl. Congratulations and lots of love!

New features:

• ‘Open’ and ‘Save’ functions are now Ajax based. No more refresh-the-site-to-see-my-updated-content!
• Search and Replace.
• Print.

New style:

• Our designer came out with GreenDOC-style toolbar buttons for the TinyMCE editor. Yes we know that three buttons are unfinished yet but you already know the news (family first). ;-)

Beautiful users:

• 63 registered users and a lot of anonymous visitors playing around with the editor. Thank you a lot for registering.

We have a lot of ideas for GreenDOC. More updates are coming soon (document export, publishing and sharing). Also we are looking for a Firefox extension developer. If you are the one or know someone, please contact us at support@greendoc.net or leave a comment.

Welcome to GreenDOC! The project was launched on the 29th May 2007. GreenDOC is a simple online text processing tool. It’s special because you’re just one click away from typing your documents and no registration is needed.

We didn’t expect to see first reviews coming up 12h after the launch (thank you bloggers and editors ;-)). Everything looks minimalistic and we’ll try to stick to it. But new features are coming:

• Export documents to RTF and PDF formats
• Public documents (users can share their documents with others)
• More nasty plugins from TinyMCE
• Account profile page
• and more..

‘Save your environment’ - WTF are you talking about? How can this little tool save your environment you ask? Simple! Just use GreenDOC for your little notices, type your documents using GreenDOC (forget paper and yellow stickers) and you’ll see less paper on your desk .. sooo you’re saving your environment. :-) Simple, huh? :-)
