Those you like nature, flowers, and trees should look into jobs that involve being in nature such as becoming a landscaper, a florist, or even working at a nursery. A florist deals with mostly cut flowers such as roses, carnations, and daisies. They also make arrangements of flowers for funerals, weddings, or just for because. On special nights like prom or homecoming they also make up the boutonniere and corsages. If you work at a nursery you would be working with a lot more than just cut flowers.

You would be working with annual flowers and perennial flowers, and also shrubs and trees. Working at a nursery would mean you have to know a lot about all the different types of plants and what kind of weather they like along with how much shade or sun they need to survive. On top of knowing all the things about the plants and trees you would have to know the diseases and the chemicals to treat the plants. A better name for someone who knows about plant diseases and the chemicals to help cure them is a horticulturist. But anyone, if they worked long enough at a nursery would grow to know a lot about the diseases too.

Landscaping is more of a job for those you also love to be creative. To be a landscaper you have to have some creative mind to be able to picture exactly what you want and to know if it will all look good together in the end. First thing a landscaper has to do is look at the place they are going to redo and then make a plan for what is going to be done. But it is not as easy as saying this plant is going to go here and this one there. They also like those who work at nurseries have to know exactly what plant or tree does well in what area of the yard.

They cannot just put a shade tree in direct sunlight in the yard or it will die. So they have to know everything they can about what they work with. Once they have the plan of where everything is going to be they get their crew together and start planting everything in the right spots, according to the plans. So if you like to be outside and in nature becoming a landscaper and working at a nursery would be the best job for you. If you would rather be inside but still work with flowers and arranging them becoming a florist would be a good idea.
