Saving the environment has never been as important as now, but it is often the small little changes that people forget that make the biggest impact. I have often had arguments with people about organising their rubbish so a large proportion of it can actually be recycled. Some people claim they feel they shouldn\'t have to do it! Which is ridiculous as the future is all of our responsibility, as it is our future.
If you are feeling stuck about how to make small changes for the environment here are some small ideas to get you thinking. Whether you want to go out and help recycle or simply cut emissions by switching off your TV completely at night to simply sending ecards instead of a card one, there is plenty you can do. These all may seem like tiny differences, but if everyone starts responding and making an effort it will have a big impact. Which is exactly what we need, as for too long we have not understood how our living habits is ruining our environment.
First off small things really do not take anytime at all to change, like turning off lights, switching off computers and recycling. Other things can be a little more challenging, but fun ideas can really occur when you start to recycle.
The next time it is someone\'s birthday or special occasion why not wrap their gift in recycled wrapping paper? Or get creative and find other materials around the house to wrap your gift up such as felts or even newspaper. Start getting into the habit of sending ecards, as they are the most environmental way to send a card to your friends or family.
There are various websites that can help you choose different ecards, with a range or different styles and humour so you can find the perfect one for your friend. Not only do you save paper and on ink when you send ecards but you cut down on emissions from the transport that would have to be driven to deliver the card.
Its just simple small aspects to our lives that we don\'t consider that really can make a bigger difference to the beautiful world we live in. So next time you have to find a gift for someone, consider the most environmental option possible as the gift of a happy world is better than anything else you could ever give!
