Some smokers that really enjoy smoking when they have become annoyed at all the stipulations that are placed on smokers today, even though most of them understand that they have no right to endanger others because of their habit. It is just common sense and any smoker who does not understand that cigarettes are very repulsive to some people are probably just naturally inconsiderate anyway.

The cost of traditional cigarettes also continues to rise along with the amount of taxes that are placed on all tobacco products. Many smokers think this is unfair because there are other products that are sold legally that can have just as harmful side affects as a cigarette. Take your average fast food cheeseburger for example: they are loaded with calories and cholesterol and are making entire nations obese, yet their cost is not rising ridiculously or are they being taxed to death. And what about the ever popular alcohol? It is legal as well and although it is taxed, not nearly as much in comparison to cigarettes and alcoholism is a very big problem in not only the United States, but many others as well.

You can avoid some of the issues concerning smoking a tobacco cigarette by simply switching to an electric cigarette. Electric cigarettes are normally cheaper to smoke by half or at least close to it. However there are a few things that you do not get from an electric cigarette, but it is not the sensation or flavor that you get from tobacco cigarettes.

One thing, or should it be said, many things that the electric cigarette does not have are the thousands of deadly chemicals that are put into tobacco cigarettes. The things that are in an electric cigarette nicotine solution can be counted on less than two hands usually and some of these ingredients are completely harmless like the water they contain just for one. You also can not get that lovely stinky smell from an electric cigarette that is so popular with those who do not smoke, of course, that is a joke. Hardly anyone, not even smokers, really like the smell of tobacco cigarettes. Electric cigarettes will not leave that nice brown residue all over your home and car interior either. You have to smoke a tobacco cigarette to get that added feature of smoking.

These are just some of the reasons that smoking an electric cigarette might be more appealing to a smoker than a tobacco version. The choice is up to you to try one or not. You have nothing to lose but some of the nastier side affects of smoking that you deal with now.
