Have you heard of the Magna Carta?





Who hasn’t?



Well just in case...



It was a legal document created in the middle ages in jolly ole England between then King John and the barons of the land, but it’s also an extremely important lesson in people taking advantage of opportunity when it presents itself.



Or better yet, people have suggested the the opportunity was created.



The story goes like this...



In the middle ages in England the king had a lot of power. Now the monarch in England has only ceremonial power.



In those middle ages, the king could...



- Take your daughter as his bedmate whenever he felt like it.



- Take your property while you were living and would sometimes make a move on it after you died.



- Falsely accuse you of anything and have you locked away forever without a trial or even take your head via execution.



- Demand more and more in taxes - unchecked.



And this lovely treatment was for people who had titles, property, family background etc. - the creme of the English society.



The nobles, lords and barons were subject to the King’s wacky whelms and financial insecurities.



Of course the nobles did not like the situation at all - who would?



But there was nothing they could do because the king always had the most money and always had the biggest army.



And...



He didn’t permit others to build a army beyond personal security.



What did the nobles do about this gigantic problem?



What would you have done?



This group of nobles...



... decided to wait until the king was to weak to resist their demands for justice and fairness.



They waited and waited and waited - for generations and generations.



Then finally,



( about the time of the infamous Robin Hood of Sherwood Forest fame)



... The time was right and then they sprang to action. Can you say Jack in the box?



The king was told...



...either sign this document or the noblemen would raise a army and remove him from the throne and also take his head.



The united group of nobles forced then King John to sign a document giving them - only the nobles and not the poor peasants a special set rights as Englishmen that the king had to respect and honor.



Since King John had no money or army he had no choice - he signed the document now known as the Magna Carta.



By the way... Magna Carta simply means the great charter.



All the stuff in most legal systems about being judged by a jury of your peers etc. stems from this document.



Now the king could no longer...



- Take their daughters as his bedmate whenever he felt like it.



- Take their property whenever he pleased.



- Accuse them of just about anything and have you locked away forever without a trial or even take their head via execution.



- Raise taxes on the barons and nobles without their consent.



- and a whole host of other activities they deemed quite unsuitable.



What had this bunch of barons and nobles done?



Some historians believe that the barons created a climate for instability in the realm.



But I believe...



They had taken advantage of a grand opportunity to make life much better for them and the ones they would leave behind.



My hat goes off to to them and anyone with courage enough to seize a family changing opportunity when it presents itself.



Guess what?



The internet is the new Magna Carta opportunity and the land of opportunity.

Without a bunch of silly hype...



A internet based business can...



- Give you another source of income...



- Give you extra money each month...



- Give you good money each month...



- Give you great money each month...



- Give you a source of income that could rival your income from your job and one day force you to make a big decision on whether to stay at your job of not.



- Earn you money to help pay for your children’s education.



- Help make sure you have a better retirement.



- Earn your financial freedom. ( can you put a price on that ?)



A friend once told me that his dear father used to say...

It’s 2008 and the people of the world are supposed to be living much better.



But instead...



- People are working longer and harder for less money and benefits.



- Corporations are getting meaner and meaner and stingier and stingier. ( no surprise there )



- Prices are steadily rising but wages have not keep up - to say the least. ( I remember when everything was dirt cheap )



- In the Western world, ends are getting harder and harder to meet and life is getting a lot more expensive and tenuous



- It’s getting harder and harder for most people to prosper, have a nice retirement and leave a legacy for their heirs.



- One of the worst things that can happen to a person is to be old and to be dependant and broke - after all those years of working.



You must take action to protect yourself, those you love and those that will follow you into this world.



The good news is...



- You can slowly but surely learn how to earn with a online based business to give you and your’s more financial options - while you have the opportunity to do so.



Just like two heads are better than one, two sources of income are much better than one right?



Wouldn’t you feel better these days, knowing you have another source of income instead of just your job?



It’s best to start a business when you don’t need a business to at least feed your family and pay the normal bills.

No.



Will you have to slave at your computer 60-80-100 hours each month -



No...
