Get Local Network Marketing Leads in 5 Easy Steps

Recently I stumbled across a simple way to get local network marketing leads. You can use this in any area, using online methods to back it up or just offline if you prefer. Here is the method.

1. Contact

Give people a way to contact you. You can use a phone number, a website or blog, free or paid, email, or even your Facebook or Myspace name.

Decide on this first.

2. Get A Free Report

A freebie really helps people sign up. You'll give them a free report, free audio recording, or free DVD, and they will give you their contact information.

One way to find this type of freebie is to search Google for give away rights in your field, such as "give away report teeth whitening" or a similar phrase.

You can also write it yourself or ask the specialists you find in step 3 if they have anything they would like to offer on the subject. Also remember, when you are looking for local network marketing leads, you can give away online and offline.

By the way, a free CD will work very well, too. Many people love to learn a little something new on their way to work.

Note: You won't market your product in the free report or audio. This is all free information to help your future clients, your leads. Don't put marketing information or invitations to meetings here. We'll get to that below.

3. Find a Specialist

Meaning a specialist in the area of the product or business you want to focus on. This person could be a doctor, a chiropractor, your dentist, a financial planner, or another professional who understands your field. They don't have to endorse your product, just be in the same field, and you would offer to give their clients a free report on an interesting subject.

4. Promote

Set up a little display to giveaway the free report at the office of the professionals, or at local restaurants. If you use a doctor or financial planner, you should put the name of the specialist on the cover of the report with a statement such as "compliments of" and the same on the webpage where you give it away, if you choose to do so online.

If you know and can use an autoresponder, set up a page to capture the name and email and phone number of the people who get the free report. You can usually get a 30 day free trial for this service, but then it will cost $20-40 per month (remember to comply with CAN-SPAM.)

If you have no idea how to do this, just have your local network marketing leads send you a note through your Facebook page, by email, or call you to get the report offline.

5. That's it!

When someone calls you or signs up to get the free report, you have a new local network marketing lead. The more you do this, the more free leads or nearly free leads you'll get.

And you can duplicate this in every town and community. People see the free ads you have placed around town at specialist's offices, and sign up. This gives you local network marketing leads, online or offline.

When you go into a new business, you can simply expand this to a new set of specialists. Add a new free report or free CD recording, or DVD, and you have a new source of local network marketing leads.
