In just a quick drive you can visit one of the nation's prettiest national parks with majestic canyon walls and awe-inspiring cliffs. You can do so many things in this park including hiking, camping, rafting, and rappelling.

When you want to take a break from work and stress there are three reservoirs of water in the area. Sand Hollow in particular is located right next to sand dunes.

Thanks to these sand dunes you can go boating and four wheeling in the same day. Simply bring your neighbors, cousins, or your boss' family and everyone can participate in an activity of their choice.

Many recognize the incredible natural beauty of the area. Because of this there is a performing arts center called the Tuacahn Amphitheatre which is situated right up against the amazing red rock canyon walls of the city.

Although many people fall in love with this city, people are not the only residents this city has ever known. A couple decades ago a local farmer was out on his property and discovered signs of ancient dinosaurs.

Millions of years ago the city was home to these ancient animals that have since left their footprints. The land has been donated to the city so anyone can come and view what those dinosaurs left.

If ever you want to get away from the normal scene of the city there are the Pine Valley Mountains to the north which offer a lush alternative. Here you can camp, hike, fish, and hunt for a change of pace from the outdoor activities of the south.
