Three Keys To Making Your Network Marketing Opportunity A Success

If you're marketing your network marketing opportunity online (and you should be) there are three key ingredients for being successful, and you don't want to leave out any of them. They are:

1. You've got to have a landing page

The primary objectives of a landing page are to capture a prospect's email address and to presell them into your network marketing opportunity. Keep in mind; this is not a hard sell. Ideally, you're giving the prospect information they can use in the real world.

It doesn't have to be professional, but it shouldn't look sloppy, either. There are templates you can purchase that will give it that professional feel. Remember, the goal of the page is to collect your prospect's information, not give them all the details of your network marketing opportunity. That will come much later.

2. You've got to have some sort of autoresponder course set up

An autoresponder system sends a series of preset emails to prospects who have entered their information into a form on your landing page. Typically, this information consists of name and email address, although sometimes a phone number is optional.

Using an autoresponder allows you to begin developing a relationship with your list. As you've probably heard, "The money is in the list." But the list can only bring you money if you take the time to establish a relationship with the people on it. An autoresponder helps you to do just that.

3. You've got to keep content flowing

Content is the lifeblood of your network marketing opportunity. Without it, your business can't survive. Why is it so important?

Content such as articles, videos, Squidoo lenses, and blogs establish you as an expert. Not only that, but they help you build rapport with your prospects. Think about it: Would you rather join a business based on seeing a splash page or watching a human being giving you valuable information on a video?

People do business with people they know, like, and trust. Your primary goal then is to get yourself out there and start showing them that you deserve those things.

Keep in mind that your content need not be of the caliber of Hemingway or Steven Spielberg. Just simple articles (like this one) that get your point across are all that's necessary. If you make videos (which I strongly suggest you do), the best advice I can give you is to keep it real. What do I mean by that?

I would suggest not using a script. When talking to the camera, pretend you're talking to a downline member, teaching them something they need to know.

Also, talk to the camera like it's ONE person. Don't say stuff like, "Hey guys," or "Hello everybody." People like to feel like you're talking directly to them. Say words like "you" a lot ("How would you like that?", "What if I told you that . . .?").

The point is to get a lot of content out there. If people see your name enough, eventually, even if they don't read or view your content, they'll start thinking of you as an expert.

How much content is enough? Let me put it this way-it's impossible to put too much out there. I usually do one video a week, then write 3 articles a day linking to that video to give it some link juice. Is that a lot? Yes. Has it gotten me results? Big time.

I also blog daily, which further helps me get content out there.
