Carbon Emissions Will Lead to a World Catastrophe

There has been recent stories all over the news that if we dramatically do not begin cutting back on carbon emissions, then the whole world could face a huge world catastrophe that we will simply be unable to control. Things are getting worse extremely quickly, and just to show you how bad some things will get if we do move into the catastrophe stage, let's take a look at some of the areas that could well be hit hardest.

UK
We all know that the winter period in the United Kingdom is just getting worse and worse, if things continue to stay as they are, the UK could soon be engulfed in masses of snow fall all throughout the winter months. I remember early in February 2009; when it snowed and the whole nation came to a standstill, now imagine that combined with hurricanes. The whole country will simply be on its knees.

Australia
We all remember the forest fires in Australia, due to the sheer amount of heat they were getting in their summer peak. Well again if things continue to progress as they are, then Australia could effectively have a real problem on their hands and forest fires may well become a regular occurrence.

Turkey
Turkey is usually known as a country which has a mild winter and a great summer, but you can literally see how things are changing with the climate. In September 2009 Turkey experience flood rainfalls which took many lives. These rainfalls although not a regular occurrence in Turkey, could potentially end up happening on a yearly basis or throughout the whole continent of Europe including countries such as France, Greece, Italy and again the UK.

USA
Hurricanes and tornados are a regular occurrence in the United States, but could become even more of a problem when global warming gets worse. The majority of us have seen the movie, The Day After Tomorrow, where tornados and hurricanes wreak havoc throughout the cities of America. Again this could be something that is not too far off.

As you can see from the above global warming and climate change is already beginning to affect a huge selection of countries which are thousands of miles apart from one another, which goes to show you just how much the planet as a whole has been affected already. I would not say that this stuff is irreversible; I mean the planet is very clever; all it really needs is time to naturally heal itself and the only way to do this is by stopping any kind of emission, there is only so much that the Earth can take. Think of a smoker as an example, their lungs become more and more deteriorated until one day they fail, the exact same thing is happening to the planet, it simply just cannot breathe.
