Just because it is warm out doesn't mean a woman cannot get that finished look to her outfit. That finished look I am referring to, pantyhose. Not only am I a woman who wears them all the time I live in warm climate all year round. Let me share some of my great finds in different brands and styles. I am always looking for the best brand and style to suit the weather and/or occasion and all I can say, hosiery has come a long way.

For me personally I look for brands and styles of pantyhose that enhance the look of my legs with a great feel to them. Some ladies might want hosiery that you forget you have them on your legs. Yet my girlfriends and I enjoy the elastic feel massaging our legs throughout the day.

For others it might be the look on how shiny they are or how thick they are. The thickness is also referred to as the denier. The lower the denier the more transparent. The higher the more thicker the material. The general range is usually between 5-60 denier. Five being barely there, sixty being totally opaque.

My top three pantyhose brands Wolford's, Cecilia de Rafael, and Pretty Polly. All three of these brands, although not inexpensive, offers styles that are perfect for the warm weather. They also offer both matte finish (looks like nothing on your legs) or glossy finish (looks like you just put baby oil on your legs). Choosing matte or glossy is a personal thing. For me depending on what I am wearing, I enjoy both.

Nothing is better then wearing Pretty Polly Oil Sheen pantyhose with a pair of shorts. They have the feeling of oil, but not in a greasy way, just that fabulous smooth feeling. When I wear them my legs look flawless with the shine of well moisturized or baby oiled legs. Definitely a head turner! As a matter of fact I once had a woman commented on how beautiful and healthy my legs looked and when she looked closer she realized I was wearing pantyhose. True Story.

A majority of the Cecilia de Rafael styles are glossy, however not like the Falke Seidenglatt or Pretty Polly Italia. These shine like a natural glow. What I like about them is the great support offered, even in the lowest denier. Miami 10 for example, very light but good support for the legs. Vidrio is a 15 denier pantyhose that not only sheer but has incredible support, not to mention the feel.

Wolford's to me is the Cadillac of hosiery. Perhaps it is that they have over 50 years experience in hosiery. Individual 10 and Logic are fine examples of great choices for warmer weather. They have an array of colors.

The only drawback I encountered with the european hosiery was the names they use for colors. For example, Gobi is a shade of brown. I learned by trial and error what color certain names were. I have noticed some of the big sellers are very good at describing the color or quick to clarify for you.Trust me on this, if you aren't sure of the color ASK!!!!
