How would it be to not have to worry about phone lines or hard-wire cables to connect to the Internet?
Now dial-up was the start-up of connecting to the Internet, but do you remember how much of a pain it was if you had to make a phone call, and the phone line was occupied since someone was online? At that point you wished you had a cell phone in order to make that important phone call, or you had to boot the person off the computer even if they were in the middle of something important. Not really a win-win situation now was it?
When doing research into different types of Internet set-ups and fast connections, quick downloads and all those extra bells and whistles, I asked my friends and family what their suggestions or opinions were on their Internet connections. It differed from their present phone companies that offered Internet services with whatever package for special pricing they had to many other wireless broadband connections. I also had to take into account their location. There are some locations where one type of setup is available, but in other areas it is not. I wanted a high-speed Internet connection that could be accessed anywhere; one where I didn't have to worry about where I was.
So that really left me with one choice which would bring a win-win situation. You may've heard of satellite Internet access. No, I wouldn't be trying to get in contact with aliens in outer space. I'll leave that to the radio astronomers. You, as a simple individual who just wants good Internet services, can have a very reliable and fast connection that is actually pretty affordable as well. Now tell me that isn't a win-win situation. Here are some great advantages that high-speed satellite Internet can offer you:
-Up to 30 times faster than dial-up
-No phone line required for access
-Availability no matter where you are
-Downloads are very quick
-No waiting or logging in
-Great for home or businesses in remote areas
Think about the possibilities you have with the Internet through satellite. You could surf the Web from a nice remote island or start that business from home knowing you will have a remote Internet connection. Doing business from home has been a goal for many especially with the problems that our economy has been facing in the past year. Weigh out your options and find that best win-win situation for you and your Internet access.
