What To Do With Looky-Loos And Subscribers Who Waste Your Time!

Remember that old television show " The Twilight Zone"?

It originally ran from 1959 to 1964 on the CBS network, and

was one of the most provocative and controversial shows of

its time. The show’s narrator, host, and main writer, Rod

Serling, always signed off each individual episode by

saying "Submitted for your approval... in... The Twilight

Zone."

Now, one thing you want to do if you want to become

successful -- of if you want to STAY successful -- and by

successful I mean making enough money to accomplish your

goals, whatever they are, is... you MUST protect yourself

from "time bandits" who try and force you again and again,

to venture off course and out into...

The Twilight Zone.

Meaning, you are going to have to set up certain procedures

or systems that allow you to avoid people, things, bad

habits and ideas that ultimately do nothing but...

Steal... And Waste... Your Precious Time!

Since sometimes you aren’t even aware something is a

time-waster, I wanted to show you a fresh, real-life

experience I recently had, that could have been nothing but

an absolute mind-numbing time-killing experience for me,

had I not been aware of what was going on.

Here’s an e-mail I recently received. I won’t reveal the

name of the person who sent it to me -- this time -- but

Lord knows it’s a doozy:

Dear Craig,

"I do appreciate your way of engaging people in your

material, and the way you keep on being consistent but so

far I have not read anything yet that I could consider

interesting in terms of tips and knowledge. I was going to

fill out the survey but I thought wait a minute here why do

you need all these info for ?"

Now whenever I receive messages like this (which fortunately

is very seldom), what I do is, I press my right index

fingertip onto this VERY valuable key on my keyboard called

the "Delete" key, just one time only, and voila! -- I get

to avoid wasting any more than even one full breath on

someone like this.

You need to understand that someone who writes something

like this to you, places ZERO value on their own time, and

so they feel it’s O.K. to waste your time as well.

Here, let’s take a closer look:

This brain surgeon says "so far I have not read anything yet

that I could consider interesting in terms of tips and

knowledge."

So he’s found nothing important on my website, and yet...

He’s still willing to spend his time with me!

Now call me stupid, but when you’re bored with something,

don’t you usually just move on to something else?

When you read a newspaper or magazine article, or when

you’re going through a a website, or -- heaven forbid -- if

you read a book that was a little disappointing to you, do

you then go and track down the author and spend your time

asking them why you should buy, read, or otherwise comsume

more of their products?

Or do you just move on to the next thing ahead of you, to

keep that big exciting machine called "your life,"

running?

I promise you, the guy who sent me in that e-mail, doesn’t

know much about marketing, and he damn sure knows even less

about time management!

So, how can you profit from this information?

Simple: Know that if someone doesn’t feel you have anything

worthwhile to say, your job isn’t to convince him or her

you DO have something important to tell them, your job is to

ignore them and move on to things that will...

Make You Money!

Remember, in direct-response, your job as a marketer is to

"attract" prospects to you -- those are the only people who

WANT to pay you for your goods and services. Don’t worry

about ANY of the others.

DON’T waste your time with prospects and customers who

aren’t as committed to you, as you are to them. Because a

person like this will never buy your products... a person like this

will never come to your seminars... and a

person like this will never hire you to do any kind of

coaching either.

In fact, it stinks that you have to deal with mental midgets

like this in the first place. But unfortunately, that’s

part of owning a business.

People like this have so little going on in their lives.

that for whatever reason, they feel compelled to suck the

positive energy out of you, to try and draw you into their

"vacuum of nothing" out there in space, somewhere in their

own Twilight Zone.

Make sure you recognize this for what it is, and you don’t

waste your time trying to "convert" these "time bandits"

into fans of yours. That is a very BAD use of your time.

Submitted for your approval, in... The Twilight Zone.

Now go sell something,

Craig Garber
